This quaint apartment has been newly restored to provide comfort with modern standards. The apartment is a semi-detached unit, part of a farmhouse. Circa 30 sq. meters (300 sq. ft) are subdivided in two spaces, a small kitchenette with a table for two, and a bedroom with a queen size bed and a very tall bunk bed for a third person and a spacious bathroom with shower. Il Colombaio is located in the heart of Tuscany in the quaint medieval village of Montebenichi. Only 2 hours away from Viareggio, Pisa and Livorno by car, it is centrally located to explore historical sites such as Montepulciano only 45 minutes away, Florence one hour away, Arezzo 40 minutes distance and Siena less than half an hour drive. Minutes away from the "strada del Gallo Nero" or "strada Chiantigiana", which is the scenic road that drives through the Chianti Classico where most wineries offer tours and winetasting.
It surrounding Tuscan woods, gravel roads and breathtaking views of the Arno valley throughout the seasons make this location a unique find.
Il Colombaio is located just outside the medieval village of Montebenichi where you can find one of the best traditional Tuscan restaurants in Italy. A plethora of exquisite dining choices are only minutes away.
