Migliarina is an estate in the heart of Tuscany, very close to Levane province of Arezzo. Levane is a town divided between the counties (comune) of Bucine and Montevarchi, which was originally built on a hill top resulting in a town divided into an upper and a lower very distinct settlements. Arriving from the road that connects Arezzo with Florence (SS n. 69) Levane is the first important centre you find arriving into the Valdambra or valley of the river Ambra, an affluent of the river Arno river, that crosses the city.
To spend a Tuscany farm holiday at Villa Migliarina means that you may choose to stay within its 1820 Villa, or in any of the farmhouse apartments or if you are a bigger group in one or both of the two independent Tuscany farmhouses typical of the XVI century.
All of the accommodations are surrounded by luscious gardens, vineyards, olive orchards, corn fields and large expanses of woods that you can explore at your leisure walking, riding bikes or driving.
The rural estate of Migliarina is also a hunting reserve, so if you are lucky you will be able to spot colourful bird species indigenous to Tuscany, wild boar, white tail dear, hares and porcupines at any time!
The Villa
At the main XIX century Villa Migliarina , there are five apartments that showcase the art and style of Tuscany's estate villas, high ceilings, frescoed walls, long tall windows, in short, an epochal austerity and elegance. The self catering apartments are all within the main building, each with its own garden with pergola or gazebo or with its own private terrace.
