Civitella in Val di Chiana (official name) is more commonly known as Civitella della Chiana. It is a town and a municipality or county comune in the southern part of the province of Arezzo in Tuscany, Italy. Once a Lombard fortress of the 6th centry , it’s elliptical shape can very well be seen as the walls and gates are still very well preserved, giving its enchantment to the place.
