This program is ideal for those who wish to begin riding on an intensive course, achieving tangible results by the end of the week. Beginners have two lessons a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, maximum 3 learners per group at the same level with horses carefully selected and prepared for the purpose.
The instructor starts beginners off with a personalised gradual system, tried and tested over years of experience, enabling the novice to learn to ride and get to know the horse and move with him. Learners usually go out for their first ride after 3 days of lessons, and alternate lessons and rides from then on.
Experienced riders who wish to visit parts of Tuscany that are only visible on horseback but do not want to do an intensive riding vacation could also chose this program.
This vacation will appeal to those who wish to continue their training into an advanced course on well-schooled horses.
The art of horse riding is often acquired superficially with gaping holes. The trainers at Santa Margherita are willing to help you fill in these gaps, patiently and competently explaining and helping you practice.
At Santa Margherita they do not claim to be dressage specialists, but they are certainly specialised in flat work.
They offer techniques that improve the balance of horse and rider.
This solution is normally offered with bed and breakfast and 10 hours of riding, from Saturday to Saturday.
We should like to remind you that Monday is rest day for the horses and therefore an ideal opportunity for a visit to places like Florence.
PRICE: 1100 € per person per week
PRICE INCLUDES: 10 hours riding, accommodations, breakfast and dinner.
SPECIAL NOTES: Maximum rider weight of 85 kilograms or 188 pounds - minimum age required: 7 years old - all skill levels welcome on this program from beginners to advanced.
