La Lodola is a historical farmhouse in Tuscany dating from the IXth century. It has been lovingly restored and divided into six wonderful apartments. The villa sits on a magnificent tableland known as “Le Chiarne” at the heart of the area known as the “Crete Senese”. La Lodola is only 7 kilometers (4 miles) away from Asciano, a well-known village for its artistic beauties and only 5 kilometers (3 miles) away from the town of Rapolano Terme, known for its amazing and healing sulphur water spas and travertine quarries. This Tuscan apartment group is ideally located also with regards to historical cities, only a 20 minute drive away from Siena and Arezzo and one hour away from Florence.
Each apartment has been restored taking into consideration a Tuscan style utilizing the natural elements of the land with travertine floors and wood beamed ceilings, stencils on walls and antique furniture. Most of the apartments have a stone and marble fireplace that enhances its unique and comfortable atmosphere. Also each apartment has a dishwasher, satellite-aereal TV, and a private outdoor area to make for a more pleasant stay.
Guests enjoy privacy, relaxation and comfort plunging into an absolutely bucolic environment enjoying the outdoors and its oval swimming pool with an ample sun parlour that surrounds it. Around the property there is also a wide path for jogging and walking and the possibility to rent bicycles for the week.
