Security deposit: Upon arrival, the guest must provide a security deposit of Euro 200. This deposit will be returned in full at the end of the stay. This deposit is used to cover any expenses caused by damages to the apartments and expenses for any paid services used (telephone, SKY TV channels, various other services not included in the rate).

This Tuscany rental is at the heart of a hamlet known as Pogni, located in the center of the Chianti area between Florence and Siena, a short distance from Marcialla, in between the counties of Certaldo and Barberino Val d'Elsa. The Farmstead with farm hoiday vacations homes (agritourism) bearing the same name of the village is located here and dates back to the 14th century.
The little village, perched on the hillside about 400 meters above sea level and surrounded by stone walls, can be reached only by a dirt road, making it even more a part of the Chianti area's nature. Inside are a big farmhouse and several annexes used for Tuscany rentals, the master farmhouse used by the owner's family, and another a 4 apartment annex and a 2 apartment haybarn for Tuscany vacation homes. The master farmhouse, dating back to 1300, seems to have been a destination of Boccaccio, who was fascinated by the landscape and sublime winemaking tradition of the area.
Another building at this Tuscany rental complex houses the cellars where wine is made, while the older wine cellars are located under the farmhouses. Today, as long ago, they are used to age wines.
The outdoors life is enticed through the open spaces created surrounding the farmhouses in Tuscany, such as green fields and olive trees. The big Tuscany farmhouse has 4 self catering apartments for 4 to 6 people while the haybarn has been divided into 2 smaller apartments for 2 + 2 people.
The apartments in the farmhouse are named: Nappolaio, Poggio ai Falchi, Gorgoli & Terrasole, and the two apartments in the haybarn are called Alba & Tramonto which mean dawn and sunset as they are each exposed East and West respectively.
Additionally, for specific needs, a third annex provides 3 bedrooms with bathroom that can be rented separately for periods shorter than one week.

Independent Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The independent ample bedrooms with bathroom for two people are housed in a separate annex and are the only rooms without air conditioning, which does not present a problem as the original walls of the farmhouse are so thick that they keep the rooms cool even during hot summer days. They can be rented any period with no restrictions of starting on a Saturday and the prices are 100 per unit for one bedroom and 75 per bedroom if more than one room is rented for more than 3 nights.
