These two country apartments are located in Villa La Selva, at the heart of the Chianti region. A place of ancient origins and traditions, it was established by the Etruscans and during the XVth century became one of the many holdings of the Medici family.
The apartments form part of an old farmhouse or traditional Tuscan villa, divided into rental apartments; each tastefully renovated and decorated in rich brocades and antiques.
As the old villa is surrounded by vineyards and private woods you may chose to traverse the rolling hills by car, by bicycle, or by foot. On your journey you may encounter deer, ram, hare and wild boar that are native to the area!
During your stay at Barona or Contessa you have access to the tennis court, pool, fishing lakes, bocce court and are able to enjoy the amazing landscape surrounding it all.
This ideal location will make for a smooth Tuscan vacation, as you will be only 20 minutes away from Siena, 40 minutes from Arezzo and less than one hour from Florence by car.

La Barona is a luxurious country apartment with a living room and kitchenette area decorated in warm Tuscan colours. This suite has a ceiling fan which is all you will need on a warm Tuscan summer day, its own private garden with barbecue grill and garden furniture, ideal for tasting wine under the stars.
La Barona accommodates a couple in a spacious bedroom with a king size bed and one other person in its twin size bed. A full bathroom, with hairdryer completes the layout.

La Contessa is luxurious and sumptuous. The living area is quaint and cosy, with a ceiling fan for warm summer days, and a fully furnished kitchenette. There is a sofa bed to accommodate one person, and a small romantic round marble table to enjoy a typical Tuscan meal.
The bedroom is particularly elegant decorated in brocades and antique furniture. The full bathroom includes a hairdryer and the suite opens up to a private garden where you can use the barbecue grill and relax under the Tuscan sun.
