Podere Bellavista is surrounded by rolling hills and farmlands, 6 kilometers from the small town of Santa Caterina and 10 kilometers from the small fortress of Roccalbegna that crowns a rock, called simply 'sasso' (stone), that from its sixty meters of altitude overhangs the suburb that bears its name. Its characteristic position of 'eagle's nest' make its visit a sight to be seen, although the Rocca can be considered more a great watchtower than a real fortress.
You can do your grocery shoping at the nearby village of Santa Caterina. If you are lucky to rent during the last week of November you will be able to watch the commemoration of the martyrdom of the saint, for which the town is named. A fire festival, called Focarazza, is held in the village where an oak trunk, called Stollo, with garlands of ivy is raised, burned and contested among the districts of this town. It is the team that catches the stollo the one that burns it and spreads its ashes to ensure good harvest.
While staying at Podere Bellavista you may chose to enjoy the silence of the Tuscan countryside, go to the beach, shop at the local markets, do wine tasting at nearby Montalcino, or even participate of cooking classes and taste delicious Tuscan meals! This Tuscany holiday villa offers a peaceful retreat, lovingly restored to convey all the charm of Tuscanys rural lifestyle.

While swimming in its pool you will be surrounded by colourful wildflowers, rock gardens, cypresses, poplars, ilexes, and swallows will be diving to share its coolness with you. The house is at the heart of its 12 hectares (30 acres) of land, where you can enjoy trekking under the Tuscan sun!
The villa is set on two levels. Upon entering the villa through its main door, you will find a bedroom with 2 twin size beds and bathroom en-suite on your left and the living room and dining and kitchen area on your right. The downstairs is characterized by open spaces that flow into each other, including opening up onto the patio where you can enjoy outdoor meals and fantastic views.
Following the granite stairs to the second level you will find the corner master bedroom with full bathroom with bathtub en-suite, a second bedroom with queen size bed and bathroom en-suite and a corner bedroom with 2 twin size beds with breathtaking views!.
