Tuscany seaside Monte Argentarios history goes back to the Etruscan days, when it was truly an island now joined to the main land through eons of sedimentation. The area is now close to the National Park and oasis known as Orbetello Lake where you can enjoy trekking and hiking. Porto Ercole is the smallest of the two ports at Monte Argentario, while Porto Stefano, is the busiest and from which you can hire ferry rides to visit the Tuscan islands such as Il Giglio, Giannutri and Elba. This exclusive area in the Tuscan coast has many great attractions such as one of the best Golf courses in Tuscany, tennis courts, scuba diving and fishing, while horse-back riding and one of the most important polo tournaments are also minutes away.

villa is located far down in the closed and exclusive Consorzio di Cala Piccola and within 5 minutes walk of the private beach with restaurant and bar, to which 4 guests have access including beach umbrella and chaise lounges at no extra charge, while additional guests will pay 5 per day. This gives the fantastic advantage of being close enough for a morning swim in the sea without the need to drive to the beach and struggle with parking! Additionally, right at the entrance of the Consorzio there is the 5 star hotel Torre di Cala Piccola with a fantastic restaurant.
This Tuscany seaside vacation rental built in the late 60' was fully renovated in 2007 and is basically divided into two buildings, for daytime living and sleeping quarters.
A most stunning characteristic is that flowing into the 150 square meters for living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry and bathroom, there is an additional 150 square meters as an extensive terraced outdoor space with open sundeck, covered outside living room, and covered outside dining & BBQ area. It is lavishly decorated with bushes, hedges and flowers where you can enjoy the sea breeze and views during the summer and sitting by the fireplace during winter.
The sleeping quarters are composed of a master bedroom with a queen size bed and a guest room with two single bunk beds. Separately, with it's own entrance, but in the same building, is one guestroom with a single bed and bathroom en-suite. Additonaly, there is a maid's quarters adjoining the kitchen with its own bathroom and one single bed. All room have ceiling fans but no air-conditioning system.
The house caretaker will stop by daily in the mornings to water the plants and sweep the terraces and be there should small problems arise.
