Rental Tuscany villa Arceno di Sotto overlooks rolling hills of vineyards at the heart of what was once known as the estate of Villa Arceno. Its history goes back to Etruscan times, later flourishing in the XVII and XIX centuries when owned by important and influential families such as the Piccolomini Clementini’s. In particular during the XIX century the main Villa Arceno, today a luxury hotel, and its parks and gardens, have been revamped by famous Sienese architect Agostino Fantastici, adding for example a one kilometre (2/3 mile) long cypress lane (200 year old trees) that is a breathtakingly beautiful to roam and linger during outdoor walks.
Staying at Arceno di Sotto you will relish its cosy garden always in bloom, surrounding an outside porch where for outdoor dining, and relaxing. A lush path takes you to the condominium pool right behind the house. Definitely a villa to be enjoyed outdoors as much as indoors, and certainly take the chance to walk, run or ride by bicycle the splendid estate of Villa Arceno.
Arceno di Sotto is a Tuscan country house full of light and ample spaces set on two levels. On the ground floor a unique original archway in stone divides the living room from the kitchen and dining area creating a feeling of warmth.
